I liked Turner & Hooch and he was good in Catch Me If You Can, although he wasn't the main charchter in that one...still played a major role though. I thought he did a great job in The Green Mile as well.

He is truly a very gifted actor and has made many films that I enjoyed. But if I had to choose one or two I would have to say
for drama, ROAD TO PERDITION & for comedy, SPLASH.

I loved him in Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, Big and Splash. However, I thought Forest Gump was his crowning achievement. A great actor and a great movie!

An underrated movie of his is That Thing You Do! A great movie with a great soundtrack. Although he had an important supporting role in the movie, it was actually his first directorial effort.
