If my memory serves me correctly the first film I saw was BAMBI I think I was 5 so that would have been 1978/9ish And I went with mt mum, my auntie Ann and my 3 cousins(i think)
55yrs ago at the Ipswich regent cant remember the the title but is was about a clown .but the one that sticks in my mind was the hunch back of Nottradam my older brother took me at 15yrs .Charles Lawton was the hunch back this was a black and white film , and i can tell you it scared me witless ,not as scary as to days films , but way back it was and you had to go with a older if you were under 16yrs.

My friend's Mother took us to see "Mary Poppins" when I was about ten - I don't think I had been before that (but had been to the theatre which was better and meant getting all dressed up!).
Seems Like Old Times (1980), with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. I saw it with my parents in Brooklyn when I was a kid, but I don't remember much about it though except it was a Neil Simon comedy.
Probably "The Bowery Boys" at the Saturday morning kiddie movie. I was seven or eight and thought they were great. That was over fifty years ago.
