oh my gosh that movie was great! it was suspenceful! i had to take my self out of the theature once! im not a big fan of scary movies, even though this wasnt one, there were just parts that people popped out at you! and what about those zombies?? those things look relistic!

YES! After I saw the movie I HAD to read the book! The book is a little different because in was wrote in 1954 verses the movie which in dated in the future. Still a great book though!
Richard Matheson is the author, in case you wanted to read the book. =]
i dont know if i would say love but it was cool. i will buy it when it comes out on DVD. if you liked that movie then check out 30 days of night. cool vamp movie.
I thought it was ok but just barely for there were quite a few shortcomings. It was too short whereby not enough time was spent on developing the plot and Neville's character and things weren't explained enough. And what I absolutely hated were the monsters. A serious case of the lack of inspiration (a screaming monster with superhuman powers, how original) and not being scary enough.
Also, the film has very little connection to Richard Matheson's novel on which this was based. Not neccessarily a bad thing, just something to point out.
