Yes it needs to be rated R if the movie stays true to the book no matter who directs it!! There were soooooo many deaths and what could be considered scary things in the book that young children would be frightened!!
I hope so, that way the little kids will be kept out and they won't have to hold back on the really intense scenes
Its a childrens book to rate it R would disappoint many young fans and lose the studios too much money at the box office
