Here is a list of my favorite psychological thrillers (my favorite movie genere).

The Sixth Sense
-Really good film... great directing!

Signs
-with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.

The Village
-staring Joaquin Phoenix (Walk The Line) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Ron Howard's daughter) Pretty good movie but does not compare to Signs or The Sixth Sense

Unbreakable
-staring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.

Lady In The Water
-staring Bryce Dallas Howard and Paul Giamatti (sp?) It's a very creative, original, strange movie but I like it.

The Others
-staring Nicole Kidman. Good mystery with a twist.

The Silence Of The Lambs
-staring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins. You have probably seen this but if not you have to. It's not my favorite psycological thriller but I really think it is the best one ever made. A month ago, I went to the FBI acadmey to see where it was filmed. It was awesome!

Secret Window
-staring Johnny Depp and Maria Bello. I saw this on TV about a year ago and loved it!

The Forgotten
-staring Julianne Moore. Not very popular but I think it was a great mystery/thriller! One of my top 10 favorite movies! It is also a lot like Signs... its a sci-fi movie but it does not feel like one.

Hide and Seek
-staring Robert Dinero (sp?) and Dakota Fanning. Yet another movie I think is great that people consider terrible. It's very much a movie with a twist. I highly reccomend it.

Shattered (also known as Butterfly On A Wheel)
-Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello. Great mystery with a suprise ending. don't know if it's on DVD. It was ment to be released in theaters but ended up first showing on TNT! I don't know what happened.

Premonition
-Sandra Bullock. Sandra did great in this movie! I knew I was going to love this movie so I bought it before I saw it.

Stay
-Ewan Mcgregor and Ryan Gosling. Really big twist!

Fracture
-Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. Anthony is brilliant at doing psychological thrillers! This move was sooo fun to watch, trying to guess the twist!

Flight Plan
-Jodie Foster. Awesome action-thriller mystery with a twist!

Red Eye
-Rachel Adams. Another mystery that takes place on a plane.

The Wicker Man (2006)
-staring Nicolas Cage and Ellen Burstyen. Yes, I admit it was not the best movie ever made but it's not as bad as people say it is!

Domestic Disturbance
-John Travolta and Vince Vaughn. "cat-and mouse" mystery/thriller.

The Departed
-Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg. Great movie.

Michael Clayton
-staring George Clooney. pretty good movie.

Disturbia
-staring Shia Labeouf and Carrie-Anne Moss. Good movie. A lot like Hitchcock's Rear Window. It's focused a little more towards teens but it's still a good movie.

When A Stranger Calls
-It's another teen audience focused mystery but it's still fun to watch.

Rear Window or any other Alfred Hitchcock movie
-I'm not a fan of too many movies before the 70's but I think his movies are great.

1408
Memento
Fight Club

the lake house?

i watch saw series~ they're smart psychological thriller... if you can stand a little too much blood.........

butterfly affect

try "the prestige" and be sure to pay attention to every detail...

i love this movie called 'stay'
its with ewan mcgregor or watversdfjlskdjhf
but its kinda insane
i recomend that

Oh yeah - here is a good one - from around 1990 - its titled Shattered and stars Tom Berenger. Lots of twists.

Another good one around 1990 titled Traces of Red and stars Jim Belushi.

Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street is a musical that is very much concentrated on the psyches of the main characters. It's more of a suspense/horror type of movie. It really involves the audience in the sense that you have to put pieces together like a puzzle to fully understand why the events happen. The movie version featuring Johnny Depp, directed by Tim Burton is a great adaptation. I totally recommend it!

I loved that movie. I started watching it really late at night and ended up having to stay up to watch it until the end. It really hooked me in.

I saw this not too long ago. Like Coma, I had to stay up and finish it (even though it was really late and I was tired. :P) I didn't expect to like it, but I was wrong. It hooked me in. It’s got it’s gory moments that will probably make your cringe, but it's definitely a psychological thriller.

If I think of any more, I will edit this. And hopefully you haven't seen these two. :)

Thought of a few more.

Also, anything Alfred Hitchcock. I've never seen this one of his, but I've seen clips + an interview of/from it, and it looks good (expecially a certian murder scene)
