It's not Godzilla. JJ Abrams said it's something that hasn't been in any major motion pictures before, so we're in for something new this time.
If you watch the trailer and 5-minute clip closely, you can vaguely make out the shape of it down the street but it's not clear enough to really tell. Guess we'll have to go see it to find out- but then, that's the whole point in all the secrecy, I suppose.

supposedly a giant crab like monster comes out of the ocean and attacks times square and infects humans somehow to become little creatures...
sounds like a ripoff of the godzilla idea.. i think that its gonna suck and thats why they wont really give away anything from the movie
