Well, I seen the movie, and I found it a little boring. The casting was great, though. There was some wicked dialogue.
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie--I enjoyed the book very much.
I am from the same town as the real Charlie Wilson and have seen/met him at political events over the years when he was in office. From what I know, the book and movie are pretty true to life--he is quite a character!
The book seemed to be a fairly objective account of how actions can have unintended consequences. No matter what your views on war or the current situation, it is a good lesson for everyone that what seems good or bad now will better be judged further on in history looking back!
