Will, your movie was better than I expected, but it had its weaknesses, too. I was glad that you were working with a director who refused to let you do any of the trademark Will Smithisms.
For once, the remake was better than the original. We watched them back to back.

I thought it was great, Will! Your acting was exceptional! I wound up having nightmares that night, though.
Not me I thought it was a little overhyped, if you've seen the
preview you've pretty much seen the whole movie. It left alot
of the story untolled and the rest was pretty predictable.
Alot of action from start to finish and good acting by Smith.

best movie ever
I didn't see it in theaters, so i'm not sure how well all that CGI went over, but in general I thought it was a good movie. I was disappointed in the ending, but since I haven't had a chance to read the book yet, I wasn't as disappointed as some of my other friends.
I always find film adaptations of books are good for themselves, but in staying true to the story they do not stand up against the original story.
I didn't absolutely love it...but I didn't hate it either. I was kind of disappointed because I really wanted Will Smith's character to make and be a hero in the end. It would have even been great if he traveled to Vermont and found his family.
I was disappointed. The acting was good (Will!) But there were a lot of parts that were boring and a lot of stuff was unexplained. I didn't like the ending, I didn't feel any resolve. I also didn't like Ana and her son. (Except for the part when they jump back and are ready to fight...showed they were in self defense mode) Overall, the movie was a disappointment, with several good scenes. As soon as I walked out of the theater there were a lot of things I didn't liek about it, but I don't remember them all now.

I liked the movie overall but the ending was kinda weak. It was a good film though.
It was awsome! I wish it had a diffrent ending though... But still it was great! I like fresh prince of bell air and i robot to!
The movie was well shot. It really evoked a sense of emptiness in one of the most populated places on earth. However the CGI could have been a lot better for a 2007 film.
I would have liked it if the movie went on a bit longer and never introduced the woman and boy character (there was just no time to bond with them anyway). I think that the movie lost a lot of its charm (and its trump card) when the dog was killed and that it should have remained as the soul character next to Robert Neville throughout the movie.
Ambiguity should have been the end of this film hinting as to if there really is any other humans left.

YOUR movie? did YOU write it? did YOU produce it? no, you simply acted in it. and you didn't act very well. the smartass hipster negro act has worn thin. go back and watch charlton heston in the real movie, the omega man. there, you will see some real acting. i am legend was simply pathetic
