Question: its black and white, but im not sure of the year.
about this war veteran who loses all his limbs and part of his jaw (so he cant speak) and people think hes in a coma and not conscious of whats going on.
BUT HE IS
and he keeps tapping his head on the wall in morse code to try and get someones attention and let him know that hes conscious.
please, its been 21 years since i saw it and i never finished it and thanks to beautiful technology i have a shot at knowing.

i believe it was "johnny got his gun", based on a book by dalton trumbo
i think it is johnny got his gun. there making a new movie of it with benjamin mckenzie who i think was in the OC or something like that. yeah i read the book were he is like a vegetable but only knows when someone is coming by feeling the vibrations when they walk
It is indeed Dalton Trumbo's "Johnny Got His Gun". Quite an amazing movie based on an even more phenomenal book.
And I think I might have to kill someone if they actually are remaking it. *twitch*
It's definately "Johnny Got His Gun." I've got a Region 2 copy on DVD. :D
It's the movie "Johnny Got His Gun" the 1971 version that stared Timothy Bottoms as Johnny you can also see clips from that movie in a Mettalica video for the song "One" if you're interested. I hope this helps.
