What is the monster in the movie cloverfield? please some answers!! real ones de!
Question: JJ Abrams is the creator of the movie. He said that the monster is his own design..not pulled from anywhere else. Its not Godzilla, Paramount is in charge of making Cloverfield and they don't have the rights to mak a Godzilla movie. If its Abrams own design, its not Cthulu. There are some theories of mini monsters if you see the production photos. We'll just have to wait and see.

You won't know till you're in the theater. There has been so much secrecy about this that they aren't likely to reveal what it is. There are a lot of guesses and a lot of preferences stated.
I'm hoping that it is Cthulhu from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Another possibility is The Parasite. It is believed that it will be a completely new creature than has been seen. Considering that no one has done Cthulhu justice... Artwork for The Parasite has been circulated, and it looks interesting~it and the louse creatures it carries along. Rumor has it that the smaller ones latch onto a person then transform him/her. The screaming woman behind the curtain is said to be in the transformation process.
But, this is all supposition.
