Question: In the independence day movie there was a scene where Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum were flying inside the huge alien starship. The setting had some kind of fantasy scene. Are there any science fiction movies with scenes like that. Any movie that contains adventure of maybe people travelling to fantasy a world and meeting new lifeforms and confronting dangerous attacks.
I am not referring to star wars movie or transformers or any of those movies by marvel. But those rare exciting fantasy movie with fantasy scenes like the one i have mentioned. Something like "mission to mars" For example

"Blade Runner" has that almost 'fantasy' setting about it. While there are no aliens, there are androids. If that counts.
