Do you like the movie Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of fleet street?!
Question: OMG!!! One of my best friends has been freaking about that movie for weeks!!! When she gets obsessed w/ something, there is no stopping her!!!Of course, we are both hp FANATICS, so i dont mind talking about that but im not CRAZY OBSESSED with Sweeney Todd like she is, though i do think that it would be an awesome movie!!!:) PS: Sorry for babbling so much!!!:D

I loved the movie! I personally think that Burton is a genius to have pulled it off.

Yes. I've seen it twice now. I liked it even more the 2nd time I watched it. And I imagine that whenever I'd want to listen to the soundtrack at home, that I could even just pop in the dvd (after it comes out) and just watch it, instead of buying the cd. Why not? It's all mostly singing anyway.... I really paid more attention to the cleverness of the structure of the songs the second time around and appreciated it all even more. Such complex vocalizations and arrangements! Oh, and the visuals... not bad! All the lack of normal lighting was awesome! Just imagine if this was a movie done in the 90's area, it would have been too well lit, which would not have conveyed the darkness of the story very well. And the gore doesn't bug me. This all coming from someone who hasn't seen the play. But I think Johnny and Helena did an amazing job.
