Is the "Seth" character "Superbad" supposed to be gay and in!

Question: Not that there's anything wrong with that, but :

He was obsessed with drawing male members when he was younger. He admitted to best friend Evan that he got all weak in the knees when he gazed into the eyes of an attractive male classmate. He acted like a jealous boyfriend when he found out that Evan was rooming with Folger at Dartmouth, not to mention how angry he was that Evan was even going there without him. There was that incredibly awkward scene at the end where he's lying next to Evan in sleeping bags when they tell each other "I love you" and start hugging (I thought more was going to happen). At the end, when they both serrendipitously meet and hook up with the girls they were after in the mall, Seth keeps looking back with sadness and longing at Evan. IMO, Seth clearly is supposed to be gay, or, at the very leasy, bisexual (Evan might be too, but this is less clear to me). What do you think was the intention of the writers here?

yeah i dont get it either- i had loved the movie but then this ending part sort of ruined it for me because it came out of nowhere. i dont get what happened at the "sleep over" because clearly something went down there.

before that scene i had just thought they would miss each other the way best friends do when they go their separate ways- but after the sleep over they acted more infatuated with each other.

no

I don't think so, they were all out for one thing.....u know what that was!

At the end their dude they were extremly drunk

I think the intention is to show how growing up as a social outcast is a little awkward.

You might have too much time on your hands to be analyzing Superbad.

i really seens like it, but i dont think so because there all ways talking about getting laid.

who cares what the storyline was

gay or christian

muslim or atheist

why polarize people and give others a reason to share hate and division?
