REALLY tough movie question!!!!?!

Question: Okay, now that I have your attention, what do you think would be a good movie concept for an amateur film maker? I am interested in producing an actual movie for personal enjoyment! It has to be CHILD FRIENDLY!

Well I am writing a story, and I was going to make it into a short film but I'll tell you a bit for ideas. My story is about a girl named Lucy. She doesn't fit in, she doesn't have any friends, and she doesn't talk. Her dad has just died, and her mom is a bit stressed and annoyed (if you get the picture....but that part is not important). But when Lucy finds out there will be a girl her age moving in next door, she kind of goes crazy. So basically it is about an outcast girl finds a friend and has adventures with her. Very childish. That is not how my story really goes, but it is kid friendly in this version. Well hope that helps!

the life and times of tommy the caterpillar...lol

happy blessed new year!!

NO GOOD MOVIES OR RATED G DUDE
all the movies i've seen that are good are either R or pg-13
no child friendly G and PG

i know when my nieces were young like 5 or so i think. they enjoyed movies with puppets. make a movie with puppets

How about a comedy that follows a young boy being uprooted from his hometown because his father is in the military and the family had to move. The new town where they live is creepy, maybe like a ghost town because everyone in the area moved away years ago because of some strange and mysterious things that had happened. The only families that are left work on the military base except for a few "locals" Im thinking that the locals are swamp thing, the wolfman, the mummy, frankenstein, dracula etc - old school monsters... and the story you make a movie about follows the boy and how he tries to fit in at the local school with the local kids being a mix of military brats and mixed up monsters.... monster kids that think that their parents are lame and not scarry enough to be taken seriously. (much the way our youth is desensitized to violence, gore and horror today)

It's not true that good movies are always rated R, but since you must be older, tackling more mature concepts is always a possibility (these are usually graphic and not child-friendly, but still good).

If you really want child friendliness, try a movie that incorporates what your audience usually goes through. If you have a specific target (like your niece or daughter), try to involve things that you know they like. In the end, you should decide. Don't ask us; ask the kids. I hope this helps.

make a movie where small looks up to big
like a 20 year old with no life and no meaning saves a kid maybe 15 or 13 being bully from there hedoesnt leave him alone he finds him annoying but he starts to grow on him he finds out the kid brother died and he hauned by it and he see his brother in him and them become friends
