Question Details: okay here's the thing they have it the easiest and i know they carry the show...but who r u to say that the writers or the producers don't carry the show?!? without a great scrip u just got porn! lol ...they get contracts before even knowing the movie or show will do good! and alot of them come out of nowhere! and make millions of dollars! for one movie and there a one hit wonder! other reasons i think there overpaid is that...there is soo much talent!! there supply is crazy so i don't think it would be too hard to replace!! unless if it's a very established actor!! which there are only few! most of them u hear about in one movie and the u don't hear about them anymore! so that just shows they can be replaced!

Actors are so overpaid. Especially Denzel who got 40 million for a mediocre performance in American Gangster.
How'd he get 40 mil? Thanks to the film being cancelled earlier in the year after he already signed. His contract said he gets 20 Million no matter what. So he got paid. Then when the film was ready to be made again he signs on for 20 million.
HORRIBLE PERFORMANCE. Since when does being calm and quiet equal "subdued performance of the year?"
I think EVERYONE of them are, they dont contribute anything to society, whatsoever. Compared to the soldiers that sacrifice themselves, Police who protect us and Teachers that help us learn. They barely deserve any money what so ever
