80's scifi movie fans, what movie is this??!
Question: I only faintly remember these discriptions:
A family in a stationwagon (I think) drive into space and get separated on a strange planet with all sorts of weird creatures.
There was some kind of weird mushroom looking things that were slightly unfriendly, chasing the dad.
I think the daughter was imprisoned by some royal creatures... idk.
And it's made with all sorts of animatronics and puppets.
I guess It's kind of a kid movie, but I somehow have memories of watching these peices of it.
I know it's not a dream, because I got grounded for something and wasn't able to finish it.
I'm 20 now and I think I was like 4 then, so maybe that will shed some light as to why I don't remember much about it.
