Answers: Does the German Shepherd in "I am Legend" survive the full length of the movie?

no
he dies about halfway through, attacked by mutant/zombie dogs, therefore infected and killed (strangled) by will smith-scientist guy-protagonist.

No, it becomes infected and is shot by the scientist.

No. He becomes infected and the doctor injects him.

i was hoping he would, but he doenst

Sadly no. That was very upsetting.

no he ends up being squeezed to death by his owner because he gets the disease!!its really sad!!

actually the movie I AM LEGEND-WILL SMITH is not on theateres yet...but some real modern countries( N.AMERICA) atleast 30% of the people have watched at the movie.

Sadly he doesn't make it...he is no Lassie!

Dog dies. Strangled, not shot, by Will's character. In the book , he has no pet.

NO ... her name was Samantha, and she was the only thing worth watching in the "been there, done that" 200 some-odd movies out there with the same exact storyline. I know I am getting on a tangent, but how could Will Smith's character, one of the world's most brilliant scientists, take 3 years to realize that since he is immune to the plague HIS BLOOD IS THE ANTIDOTE??? YIKES !!!!

No it gets killed by a mutant dog near the end
