I actually enjoyed the movie. Its similar to 28 days later in a way but I think because of Will Smiths superb acting it was better. The only thing I have negative to say about it is the ending was too abrupt. They could have expanded the movie... other than that it's an enjoyable film with some suspenseful scenes that will keep you interested.
I heard people say it is an awesome movie but I've yet to see it..
No I have not. It is not a ripoff, the book and Vincent Price movie came out decades ago.
My Husband saw it, actually 28 days is more of a rip off of I am Legend, the book came out, I think it was during the 1950s.
It is nothing like the movie trailer...I thought it was pretty boring. There is a lot of the movie where it is just Will Smith, it kinda reminded me of Castaway but I am Legend was more boring. It could be a rip off of 28 days...its hard to tell.
hmm yes ive seen it, the storyline was sort of like 28 days later like the entire NY city was a ghostown and all the people caught a virus, which was supposedly a cure for cancer. will smith ended was the only one left who was immune to the virus and his blood like had a cure for it, hahaha but ohh well im already telling you the story, it wasnt scary at all but i just liked watching will smith... just watch it so that your curiosity will come to an end hehehe take care hope this somehow lessened your problem....
The movie is somewhat entertaining. 28 days later, Romero's "living dead" movies etc... were all trying to emulate "I am Legend". The novel was written well before all these other "rip offs".
It is actually a fourth film adaption to the 1954 Richard Matheson novel. And some might say it's like Cast Away with zombies.
