The funniest movie I have ever seen is an old movie called An Night At the Opera. It is by the Marx brothers and it is hilarious. I watched it thinking oh black and white this is going to be really lame but the comedy felt like it could have been written yesterday. It really turned me on to some of the older comedies of the past by greats like Howard Hawks and Preston Sturges. I must say I now prefer these to todays comedies, cause today the shows and movies to me are just getting to raunchy and mean spirted and I really don't find anything funny about them. Judd Apatow does a nice job of balancing the profane with the sacred, but it gets old after a while. I hope to have kids someday and I want something other than the Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks movies to watch with them.
