Heat has alot of action in it and it a pretty good movie. But The Italian Job is a great movie all around. I would say the Italian Job this time and at another time watch Heat.
Is that the newest Italian Job? I think it is isn't it. Watch that. Its a well good film.
based on cast alone, i'd go for "the italian job". edward norton is a brilliant actor.

I have not seen Italian Job, but have heard good things about it. I have seen Heat, and although very long, Deniro and Pacino are two of my faves, and it's cool to see them act together. Heat is a good movie, not a great movie. I would say, watch both, and then let us know which you liked more.

Go for Heat it is a masterpiece, but the The Italian Job is pretty entertaining, but Heat will reward you tremendously for your time.
