Other than "It scared me!" What parts of 'I am legend' did you!

Question: TD are you on a rampage because you paid $12.00 for a movie ticket?
Or is it the wasted time there........ while you could have been spending here........ wasting it?

the ending, i just thought it was deep how the zombie thing was really determined to get him by continuing to smash again the glass or whatever it was. And then will smith just pulled out the grenade and they ran towards eachother.

hmmmm...my favorite part was when will smith said "god didnt do this...we did!"

and when he was in the bathtub the first time with his dog sam...and the darkseekers come out and you hear them!!!!

freaky!

I loved the extremely quiet atmosphere, the calm, the end of pressure, you're the last man on earth.
No need to stress out about work anymore.....fueuken awesome.
And the zombies were scary, well done, CGI is good.
The scenery, new york destroyed, it was very realistic.

i haven't seen the movie, BTW......

...you know, for the most part, being a big fan of the much more thoroughly told original novel by Richard Matheson, as well as the two previous movie incarnations (...we ALL know them, by now!!!), I have been adamantly and unswervingly critical about the newest incarnation of "I Am Legend"...

...however, something which I definitely DID like about the film, was the absolutely thorough and chilling set design, with respects to all of the shots involving the abandoned city; I'm sure that there had to have been SOME footage shot on the streets of New York, but in seamlessly melding this with the very intricately detailed on-set design construction, I genuinely believed that I was looking at an abandoned, decrepit, eroding and unkempt ghost town of a major metropolis...

...I even like the little tidbits of tongue-in-cheek humor, with regards to the well-renowned splashing of New York billboard advertisements (...for instance, come on, folks!!! The "Batman vs. Superman" advertisement was definitely a hoot!!!....uh, perhaps Warner Bros is hinting at something they are hopefully planning on working on, in the near future...hmmmmmm!!!

The parts of 'I Am Legend' that I liked the most were the character Will Smith played. Showing his routine, how he was slowly going crazy, the things he did to cope, etc were very well done.

The scene selection was also excellent - the dead city was just spooky, and the views and cinematics were excellent. Just the idea of being alone in the world is an intriguing concept...this movie, the Stand, etc.

The execution - specifically the generic 'fast zombie vampire' monsters was pretty weak though. So was the 'one super-scientist creating a cure'. The monsters were much better when they were unseen - when it was Will Smith in the dark and terrified.

Despite the great cinematics, the great premise / setting, and the great acting by Will Smith, I was disappointed by the movie. It seemed like it could be so much more, and it seemed like there were a few things that were just tacked in there to dumb down the movie or wrap it up more easily.
