In the movie Sweeney Todd, will we see people being killed?!

Question: For instance, will we actually see the knife cut someone, or will we see him starting to slash the guy, but then you see the shadow or something? I'm not good with blood, but I really want to see this movie!

If I recall correctly, you see about a dozen people die throughout the film. Yes, you will actually see many throats sliced open. It happens in full view of the audience in about half the cases. Blood spurts everywhere, hits the camera once or twice, drenches Sweeney a couple times, and in the end... well... you see more blood in the end than in the rest of the entire film. I won't give it away, though.

MOST of the throat slitting only goes on during one singing sequence, though, so if you don't mind shutting your eyes and possibly plugging your ears for those 3 or 4 minutes you should be able to survive... just remember that there's a throat slitting about halfway through, then about half a dozen during that particular song, then a few more in the end, and then a VERY bloody ending.

I think you could get a lot out of it, but you may be uncomfortable for a total of 10 minutes.

YES YOU WILL..it so bloody and you see it happen too. you actually see Sweeney cut the throat and stuff. the judge is the bloodiest of them all.

A lot of throat slashing and blood.

yes lots if you can not handle guts and blood (b I can not) dont see it its really dark, I saw it and I closed my eyes at those parts and there are aot there is a hole seen were all he does is just that go see it but be aware that there is lots of blood and they do some other really creepy things to.

According to the Parents Guide on imdb.com:
The murders (there are plenty) show huge amounts of blood squirting onto the characters, and even onto the screen a few times. A woman is burned alive and she is shown combusting and smoldering in the flame.

I thinks so I can't tell you its better when you see it ok. :)

i havent seen the movie but it is rated R for graphic bloody violence...... so im guessing u'll see blood.......

As others said, there is alot of blood. You see several people having their throats slit, and one woman being thrown into the fire.
And to be honest, I didn't like the movie too much. It was a shame, because I love Tim Burton, and I love Johnny Depp, so I figured the two of them put together would be amazing, yet it let me down =[
But if you do see it, you can just look away before the blood comes, because it will be apparent when it's about to happen.
