What is the movie that this woman's husband...?!

Question: What is the movie that this woman's husband was very controlling and cut off her arms and legs and put her body in a box?

Haha, I know this question might sound weird but some one recently brought it up when I said something about the movie "Johnny got his gun" and said that she thought the name was something like "Pandora's box" or something box and I looked it up but I don't think that's it. I've been dying to know what it was called ever since. Well, I greatly apprieciate if some knows. :)

BOXING HELENA (1993)
starring Sherilynn Fenn, Julian Sands, Bill Paxton, Kurtwood Smith, Art Garfunkel

IMDB summary:
A top surgeon is besotted with a beautiful woman who once ditched him. Unable to come to terms with life without her, he tries to convince her that they need each other. She has other ideas, but an horrific accident leaves her at his mercy. The plot is bizarre and perhaps sick at times, ending abruptly and with a twist.

The man isn't her husband, and it's questionable at times whether he ever was her lover. After all, at the end, she's completely intact~no missing limbs, leading us to suppose that it's all been his bizarre imaginings. Did he imagine their affair, too?

Obviously, the film was extremely controversial at that time. I'm not sure if people still feel the same way about this film, which does have some shocking images.

TRIVIA:
Madonna was originally going to play the lead. At that time, the project was titled "Boxing Hanna."

Kim Basinger pulled out of the title role and was successfully sued for $9 million for violation of a verbal contract. The award was overturned on appeal, and the case was settled out of court.

Jennifer Chambers Lynch~David Lynch's daughter~wrote the screenplay when she was 19 years old. She also directed the film.

Filmed in Atlanta attorney Ed Garland's 15,000 square foot mansion. The house also was used for portions of "Driving Miss Daisy" (1989).

yeah, i would qualify that as controlling.. probably some lame a ss jenifer lopez movie

Boxing Helena is the movie but the the man was not the husband. He was a past lover who the woman ditched.
