It's about romance between a spoiled rich girl and a poor man; they grew up together and loved each other. But she rejected him and his love to marry someone else; (a rich suitor) however, they never stopped loving each other. When she married the rich guy, it broke his heart and he left home, hurt and bitter. He was gone a long time and made a fortune. Came back and........ don't want to spoil the movie for you. But the 1939 version is the best. The AMC TV channel shows it from time to time. I never get tired of watching it.
It's about the book by Emily Bronte'.
