As I change, so does my taste in movies as well as my favorite movie. At one time it was Star Wars, then it was Jaws...lately I gravitate towards Almost Famous.
I dont have a favorite movie. I have few movies that I can watch over and over again and I wont get tired of them. Dumb & Dumber, Little Miss Sunshine, The Wizard oz Oz, Welcome to the Dollhouse, A Walk to Remember...there alot more.
For the longest my favorite movie was "Love & Basketball" until I recently saw the movie" Superbad". So..I guess it does change.
I think everyone has to have a favorite movie "of all time." Mine for instance, is The Princess Bride.
However, its perfectly acceptable (and normal) to have ever-changing opinions of "the best movie" or "favorite movie in recent times", etc...
In general, I don't havea single #1 favorite. Maybe favorites for each genre or catagory.
And yes, as I get older and my perspectives change, and as new movies come out, sometimes they will go up or down on the list.
Mine change between the Godfather 1 and 2 and Goodfellas. Right now it's Goodfellas.
Well, mine keeps constantly changing but they all are still in my top 20 movies! Only the order changes.
