Why didn't 1492: Conquest of Paradise, get a North America DVD release?!

even some of the worst movies ever have gotten dvd's.. like Hairspray, Borat, American Beauty, Austin Powers 2

its sad when some of the greatest havent yet though.

Because it was a really lame movie. From the trailers, I thought it would be good, but I was soooooo disappointed when I saw it.
