Is the blair witch project true or fiction?!

Question: It's fiction. The Director/Producers staged people in the town at the beginning of the film as well as not telling the actors about some of the things that they intended to do to them in order to make their reactions more realistic (like waking them up in the middle of the night by banging on their tent).

Fiction

Fiction. Looks real though!!!!

It is not real, they built up the hype around convincing us it was real so we would all watch the movie. And we all fell for it, didn't we? I could tell how bad most people thought it was because suddenly all the pawn shops filled up with the movie.

The Fargo people did something similar, at the beginning there is text that says something to the effect.....this story is real. Out of respect for the living, names etc have been changed. Everything else is true out of respect for the dead...something like that. Anyway, it wasn't true. But at least Fargo was an entertaining thriller type movie. I wasn't left feeling pissed at being duped like Blair Stupid Project!

when that movie came out it was made so well (at the time) that it all looked real.

But then 4 months later guess who shows up at the oscars.

Fiction
