2007 Movie of the Year......?!
Question: As of 15 DEC 07, what is your favorite movie for 2007? Why?
My favorite is "The Pursuit of Happyness.''
It was an excelent story, very well told, and Will & Jaden Smith did an excellent acting job. Besides I grew up in the Bay Area so I have some hometown favoritism.... lol

Unbelievable! My fav movie is the "pursuit of happiness" too!!! It was a really good movie... Sensitive... I cried a lot at the end... Some people really deserve to live ok after sooo many difficulties they've been through...*sniff sniff*
I would say "Hairspray" - so lighthearted and fun. My 18 year old daughter agrees with me but my 15 year old daughter thinks "The Bourne Ultimatum" was the best!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, or The Golden Compass. I can't choose
I would have to say the Golden Compass. It's an amazing movie that really gets you to think about life and social morality if you really look at what the movie is about. I read the books when they first came out in 1995 and this movie, while it didn't show the best of the book, definitely covered most of the material and brought to life a wonderful fantasy.
