Return of the Living Dead. I love crazy zombies combined with cheezy 80's humor.
Easy: The Thing (Original movie). The actual title of the book was "Who Goes There". Like all good scary movies, the thing terrifying is shown sparingly. An example is Jaws. Just the anticipation was exciting and scary. An example, remember the guy playing solitaire with his back to the dripping block of ice. Great, great movie making.
Black and white film is best for most horror movies. The location of the polar cap was a great location for B&W film. I will say that the remake was quite good.

i don't know why i took a shine to this movie but its House of wax the remake, maybe its bcoz we see Paris Hilton get mullerd in it ?????? i don't know but i thought it was an OK film.

Mothman Prophocies, it's based on a true story, no lie google mothman and a ton of crap will come up
