I Am Legend, The Last Man on Earth, and The Omega Man are all based on "I Am Legend," a book from the fifties.

yup, just finished reading it. it was in a collection of short stories, i thought it would be longer, but it was really good. i can see why everyone thought it was amazing, noones dont anything like that before.
