Question: On average how many dvd's can you rent/ month on the "unlimited" plan?

Answers: On average how many dvd's can you rent/ month on the "unlimited" plan?

They "throttle" you if you return them too quickly. This means that they will slow down the next disk by a day or two. For example, if you are consistently sending the disk back the day after you receive it, they will send your next one out a day or two after they receive the disk back from you.
Generally, under the one at a time plan, you can get three in a two week period. However, it would be fewer than six in the same period for the two at a time plan because of the throttling. They eased up on the throttling after it was identified about a year ago, but it still happens.

on 'average' that would be 12

The most I was ever able to rent in one month was 12. But generally, it was more like 12. It takes 2-3 days to get the movie, then you watch it & even if you return it the very next day it takes 2-3 for them to get it, process it & send you the email that says they got the movie.. then another 2-3 days for the next movie to go out. So really it is about 3 a week if you are lucky

That will depend a lot on how often you watch and then return them. It also depends on the unlimited plan you choose. I currently get three at a time, but you can get up to eight movies at a time as well. Depends on how much you want to pay. With us, on a month where all we really watch are movies, I think we've gotten about about 24 or so a month.

By the way, how quickly you get new movies depends on how close you live to a shipping facility. We got movies within a day or so after mailing because the facility is maybe a half hour away from us.

I've rented as many as 17 in one month on the 3 out plan. I average around 12. I've been a loyal Netflix customer for 4 or 5 years.

I get my dvds the next day after they ship them, when I return them they also get them the next day. I guess it all depends on where you live.

I have three DVDs per mailing.......if they mail you movies let's say Monday you will get on Tues. view movies Tues. return on Wed. Netflix will rec on Thurs and mail the next three movies in your queue...you Will rec. on Friday......so technically you could see six movies a week or 21-24 movies a month taking out days for mail or whatever....it depends really how quickly you view and return .....I live in an area where the Netflix facility is twenty miles from my home so there is a very quick turn around time

well speaking from experience, I'm on the 1 at a time UNLIMITED plan which is 8.99 +tax. If you go any lower than that, you will either get 2 a month or 1 a month depending on the price. anything above 8.99 is unlimited.. there are 3 at a time, 4 at a time. 8 at a time:)and etc.. with 1 at a time, if you are an avid movie watcher and have time to see them during the week. I usually end up renting from 7-8 movies a month. When I had 3 at a time unlimited.. I was renting 16-20 a month :) and that was overkill :) but I had the time so it worked. good luck & happy movie watching
