Is this a movie?!
Question: I remember a story from my lit class in high school. It was a story about Oedipus Rex. If you haven't heard of it, it's basically about a king who goes to a seer, the seer exclaims "one day, your son will kill you." So when the queen bore a son, the king took the baby to the mountains and left him there. A man and his wife found the child and took care of him. When the boy grew up, he went to a seer and the seer exclaimed "one day, you will kill your father." To keep this from happening the boy left his family.
I can't remember how it lead up to this, but the boy ended up killing the king (who really was his father) and marrying the queen (who was really his mother). yeah i know it's pretty f***ed up. but i was wondering if it was made into a movie?

I know of a movie called Oedipus Rex, and another one called Oepidus The King.
