Shawshank Redemption or the Godfather?!
Question: These are the two top ranked movies at IMDB both tied at 9.1/10. I love both movies but to me it's Godfather all the way. What do you all think?

WOW that is a touch decision to make. I loved both movies. To me the "Godfather" is a classic film that will go down n history as one of the best movies of all time. So I agree with you and would go with that one.
But I will say "Shawshank Redemption" was an excellent film as well.
i actually like both a lot. but i'd say shawshank redemption. its really good.
i like the godfather series but i think that shawshank is better movie wise

I love both films and think both are very well-made, but I think "Shawshank Redemption" wins this time.
Both were excellent movies, but if I have to choose, I go with The Godfather. Shawshank is one of the few Stephen King stories that was put on the silver screen and was actually good.
I am sick of the godfather because they show that movie which seem like every other weekend. Shawsshank ok if nothing else is on.
Godfather no doubt, but shawshank has the "what's next in life" theory about it.
