Golden Compas?!
Question: What are your thoughts on this movie? I personally think it's pretty gay how the demons and witches dressed in all black were the good guys, and the people dressed in white and all are the bad guys. It kind of pissed me off actually.

I haven't seen it yet. But when I seen the previews I thought the polar bears looked rabid or something.
Kinda looked like a video game in the previews.
I like nicole kidman so I'll probably see it soon.

For many, it doesn;t matter how they were dressed, as the movie is getting very mixed reviews, mostly along the lines of "visually appealing but lacking any real center"
it was okay. i went with people that read the book and they said that they crewed up the ending but idk.

It's like all those idiots out there that didn't like the Da Vinci code because of Tom Hank's hair. WTF?
Okay, so it's not about the plot of the story, or the horrible acting, or the bad dialog, or the cheesy locations, set designs and wardrobe, or any number of other things that can affect a movie.
You people single out the dumbest, most non-important thing of the movie to gripe about.
All I can say is grow the eff up.

It's one of the best movies ever!!!! It leaves up a BIG cliffhanger so now I'm going to try to read the book again. The movie only has parts 1 and 2 of the first book no part 3 (which I've heard is the most exciting part) There was way more violence then I expected and the monkey is pretty creepy too. It a great movie if you like either fantasy or sci-fi or both. I rate it a must see. 3.5 stars(out of 4 stars) or 2 thumbs up. I haven't fully read the book so I can't say if it's like Eragon where they totally screwed everything up but it made me want to read the books and I can't wait to see the next movie, it there's one. I didn't see how it can possibly offended anyone (okay I can but it's very stupid and to difficult to explain in writing but I can tell you) The actors are amzing to. It's a great movie. Go see it. I'll own it when it comes to DVD
ive watched the movie n i didnt get it! i dont know if the movie is about the golden compas or a polar bear.
I loved it =) but i prefer the books...I noticed that if you didn't read the books before hand it is hard to follow along I had to keep explaining to my mom and sister why things were happening...and! about the way they are dressed that just proves that people that wear white are not always the good guys =)
