Question: can you think of any tv shows or movies that are similar to the BOOK (not the movie) sense and sensibilty by jane austen?
im supposed to compare and contrast something to the book, but i really cant think of anything! can you please help me???

Hmmmm...well I have read the book and seen the movie (loved them both) and I guess in modern times the best comparison would be Sex in the City cause the whole plot is about hooking up and breaking up with various men for various reasons.

I'm afraid I saw the movie and did not read the book. The only thing I can think of is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (I think that's her name.). I'm not sure if that's close enough to compare though.
The film "clueless" is based on Jane Austen's Emma.
well i don't know if this is along the same lines but there is a movie called The Governess with minnie driver or mansfield park
great movie
