I assume it is a remake of the old Vincent Price movie where he is the last man on Earth, and everyone is turning into Vampires from a virus.

it's actually based on the book I am legend. there have been some movies made based on it, omega man and I am omega are some of them.

I Am Legend is a "sole survivor" story, based upon a quite interesting short novel of the same name.
In the novel, bascially, everyone in the world has either died, or become a zombie/vampire. Except one man. The zombie/vampires are feral, wild, uncontrolled, and dangerous. The sole survivor is trying to stay alive and find out what the hell happened, and killing off any zombies that threaten him. Then he discovers that not all the zombies are animalistic... Some are civilized, and they don't much appreciate the survivor and his activities...
It was originally made into the move "The Omega Man," whith some plot changes. This movie is reputedly closer to the novel, though still recognizably sharing plot elements with the Omega Man versin.

Basically there's a nuclear war. Everyone dies except for Will and his dog, and some other wild animals. Then ugly *** people that have been living underground forever(mole people) come out and want to take over. It's based on a book, and an older movie. Looks hell good i wanna see it.
It's based on the Richard Matheson novel of the same name. It's rather short, so it's a quick read if you want to check it out.
Basic outline is that it picks up after a virus has killed pretty much everyone on earth. Only Robert Neville is immune. The only other people are either undead vampires or infected living people who are on their way to becoming vampires. It also has some vampire dogs as well. The story tracks his research into the virus and attempts to ward off the vampires and cure a dog of the virus. I won't go further as I don't want to spoil too much.
I'm not sure how closely the movie will follow the book. The last version (Omega Man) wasn't very close.
