"Atonement" as a first-date movie; what do you think? Appropriate?!
Question: I still haven't seen it but I'd think it's very appropriate for a first date.
Answers: I still haven't seen it but I'd think it's very appropriate for a first date.
It got good reviews, and people gave it 3 and a half out of four stars, or four i think, which is rare. only one thing.... how old ae you when atonement is rated R? Maybe you should try a movie that allows people under 17.
peace:)
don't go to a movie on a first date. it would be better to do something where you can talk, interact, and get to know each other as opposed to sitting in silence for 2 hrs.
But if you insist, I heard it was a good movie. I might choose something a little more lighthearted for a date though (unless your date specifically stated they wanted to see it).
Maybe...It has some sexual content in it that might make you or your date blush. It's also a bit slow in spots (although that might be to your advantage).
I have some respect for the movie but it wasn't the masterpiece that it's been made out to be. For a first date, you might want something that's more of a "sure thing." Try "Juno" - one of the best pictures of the year, and funny throughout.
