Where does one acquire the opportunity to view silent films?!

Question: For example: "Napoleon", "The Passion of Joan of Arc", "The Ten Commandments"(1923), "Ben-Hur"(1925), "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"(1923), "Nosferatu", "Metropolis" (These are the ones I'm mainly interested in), etc.

Are some of these available on DVD or VHS? Because as far as I'm concerned, since these are silent films, wouldn't someone need an old-fashioned movie projector?

College film societies, art museums, libraries, and repertory houses are all good places to see silent films on a big screen. For home viewing, many silent titles are available on DVD or VHS. Also, if you have cable, subscribe to Turner Classic Movies, which frequently has late-night silent-movie marathons.

I would go to the movie trading company. They can order about any movie you want. I too like some silent films because I like Lon Chaney. I have Nosfarato and Phantom of the Opera. I got them at the movie trading company. Usually pretty cheap scince no one buys them.

Available at Netflix. Also check your library.

Library probably has a bunch. My college library does.
