Personally, my favorite movie ever is "The Goonies" I can watch that movie over and over and it never gets old. The kid in me is very much alive and this movie only brings it out even more. I know a lot of people who like this movie as well. Most people will say a classic movie like "Gone with the wind" or "Casablanca" or "Breakfast at Tiffany's" to earn brownie points (not to mention a best answer) but I'm going with what I love and that's my Goonies. Chunk is the best.

Three Days of the Condor

It's still relevant today.

the ladies man

The Santa Cluse 3 and Shrek 3. Sorry no posted sourses.

ive seen uncle buck about 50 times and i still can sit and watch it completely thru without leaving my seat

Spirited Away. it's an amazingly beautiful film. Don't be turned off by the fact that its anime. It has recieved many awards and a 4-star review from Roger Ebert.

The ROCK rocks!! I guess because the viewers can actually sympathize with the "bad" character portrayed by Ed Harris. Nichola Cage and Sean Connery did good actings too.

Casablanca.

It's easily my favorite. Bogart and Bergman epitomize man and woman. Many of the classic lines you know are from this movie, such as "Here's looking at you, kid." and "This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." There's plenty more.

Papillon, with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman

Cant find a link for it but Pulp Fiction is a great film

Field of Dreams

I would have to say Amadeus.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory...the original version with Gene Wilder not the one with Johnny Dep. I grew up watching that movie...I love the songs that the Ummpa Loompas sang...that movie is soooo Boss

Anything from when I was young, but the Labyrinth was great. I'm not talking Pan's Labyrinth or any of that modern crap, I'm talking about the one with David Bowie in tight leggings (yuk).

Otherwise Ten Things I Hate About You, Dirty Dancing, Sound of Music (hurrah for Captain Von Trapp) or Oliver!

The Passion

i would have to say the notebook...

I DREAMED OF AFRICA! That was the best one I've ever seen. Set in the remote grasslands of Africa, the story tells you of how much you don't realise how lucky you are to have someone and then in an instant they are taken away from you. You blame yourself because had you not done this, they would still be alive. Try watch it. Also "MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE" played by the same actress.

Top 3 Faves:

Cinema Paradiso
Malena
The Science of Sleep

I love these films because they hit my mind and pull my heart strings on so many levels --these films made my heart ache, savoring melancholy and also made me revel in the moment.

Imitation of life..it's an old movie but it was very moving.I don't have a link to it but I'm sure you would love it.

"Rashomon" is a 1951 classic from my country. It combine 2 stories by Akutagawa Ryunosuke that he copied from medieval tales. Takehiko young samurai is found stabbed to death in a grove. He traveled with wife Misago and met ronin Tajumaro. Ronin say he kill samurai in duel over women. Masago says she kill husband and try to kill self in shame after being raped by ronin. Takehiko said he kill himself in shame over wife's dishonorable behavior. The story is Zen koan.
