When Harry Met Sally, funny and romantic.
Sense & Sensibility is a good one. Tiptoes (w/Matthew McConaughey & Kate Beckinsale) is another one I like. The ending is unexpected.
I don't know if you like musicals. but if you do, "Dirty Dancing" is a great love story as well as it has good music and dancing.
Also, "White Christmas", and "Ghost" is good.

The Way We Were- a classic starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford
Bounce- a quiet little movie that I never saw come out at the theaters but luckily caught on DVD starring Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Catch and Release- starring Ben's wife Jennifer Gardner. Scene from the funeral should is classic!
Penny Serenade- This movie was made in 1941 and stars Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. Even if your not a fan of black and white, you should check it out...it's worth it!
Heartburn- C'mon, Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson...you know it's gotta be good!
