Has anyone watched enchanted? is it any good?!
Question: its out in the uk on the 14th but i know its been out in the usa since thanksgiving. my bf watched the trailer and said it looked daft and sappy. is it funny? would a guy like it? or should i wait til the dvd is out?

Yes, my wife and 6 yr old reported good things (they'd seen it in Brooklyn, NY about 3 weeks ago)... excellent special affects, great start and very nice Manhattan & NYC scenes. There are 2-3 very memorable.
I don't want to ruin it for you, but it gets talky/preachy about love-lessons midway after a great start (remember that Hollywood is a very liberal place and even in this genre, they want to massage/break traditional thoughts in children, of what a family is...)... You could predict/imagine the ending if you can spot Hollywood cliche, from a mile away. It was worth the $$$ -- which is saying something, today.. as you know.
It's about as good as your display picture - so not very good.
it's not bad, even for a guy. it really is a parody of the fairy tale genre...
If you like Disney, you'll probably like this. There are a lot of funny CUTE moments- no adult humor, really, though. I went to see this movie with my boyfriend and he loved it a lot- but it's a love story, obviously, and you might need to know some disney to appreciate the humor. go for it!
It was a lot better than I thought it would be. I took my 13 year old sister to see it, and she loved it, and I wasn't bored.
I saw enchanted. It rocked! It looks like for kids but even my mom liked it! Its a good movie if you like comedy. Go see it!!!

If you aren't a fan of Disney movies, you might not like it. The first part is a send up of the classic princess movies, but towards the end it drifts towards the usual princess-y thing. Lots of humor.
It was a good movie, but again, depends on what type of movie you like to watch. If you aren't sure, wait until it is released and ask some friends what they thought. A guy might like it, he also might not. Same with girls.
James Marsden is hilarious, though.
i dont think it was to bad, and my husband was laughing a lot, so i think it would be good for guys and girls
It's cute and sappy. It has some good satire and jokes about the whole fairy-tale princess movie thing. I went to see it with my GF, and she loved it.
i liked it it had a few lol's. :)
