Answers: Any character(not actor)any film, just give me your thoughts please!and y you chose this person!

John Rambo,he is everything i would liked to have been.A mans man.

Darth Vader!

Rooster Gogburn (True Grit).

"Fill your hands you son of a b-tch!"

dirty harry

Rose DeWitt Bukater - Titanic , played by kate winslet!

Loved the big hat, also loved the line when she looked into billy Zane's eyes and said you unimaginable bas.tar.d..loved it...

Dirty Harry. The template for all detectives in movies ever since

my fav child movie is simba from the lion king and now it is captin jack sparrow (johney depp) from pirates of the carribbean

Marty McFly
Doc Emmett Brown
Einstein

all from Back to the Future still love that film 20 years on

D D Lewis...Watch this ****** perform. i think i met him once in Jersey. great guy!

Ponyboy Curtis- C. Thomas Howell (the outsiders)
Duke Orsino- Channing Tatum (she's the man)

Roger 'Verbal' Kint

out of the usual suspects.. aka kevin spacey.. he tells a good story ;-)

but jack in the shining .. another good role

Vincent Gambini in My Cousin Vinny aka Joe Pesci
"The Two Yutes"
"The two what?....did you say "yutes" "
"Excuse me your honor....the two DEFENDANTS"

Also Kevin Spacey in American Beauty
"I'm smoking a joint...and after that, I'm gonna work on my pecs"

Kevin Spacey also plays a great role in The Ref, which is probably one of the funniest movies ever.

"EXCUSE ME....EXCUSE ME....EXCUUUUUUUSE ME....but this moron still has the floor!"

Edward Scissorhands

Chris Chambers(stand by me)

Edward Henry Machin played by Alec Guinness in "The Card". I think 'Denry' is usurpassable as a rags to riches, cheeky chappy. Whilst he kept one step ahead of all the men, his romatic nature and sense of chivalry made him vulnerable when dealing with the ladies.

The Wheeler the Mudlark in "the Mudlark" is another favourite. Wheeler has surprisingly few lines, but was
all the better for it. A little boy, who along with Mr Brown and Disraeli, helps Queen Victoria out of her years of mourning.

I loved Oddball (Donald Sutherland) in Kelly's Heroes. He had the right approach to warfare. Don't get involved unless you have to, stay chilled and make sure you can retreat at full speed when the enemy has you outgunned. Mind you he also had the guts to face down a tiger tank armed with only a side-arm at the climax.

A special mention to the Head Gremlin in Gremlins 2 for style and sophistication.

I used to love "Johnny 5" - Short Circuit 1/2. I loved the general sillyness and he had some great one liners.

Judge Dan Haywood in Judgement at Nuremburg is one of my favorite serious characters. A steady old Judge who has to face up to the difficult philosophical questions and political pressures posed by war trails. Spencer Tracy is excellent in the role as the rest of the cast. (o.k. Will Shatner had a bit part, so there was one ham).

My favourite female character is Laurel Ayres (Whoopi Golberg) in the Associate. Miss Ayres has a slighlty sadistic touch to her when she gets revenge which gives this Whoopi Goldberg vehicle a bit more edge.

I agree with littlelanasue that Vinny was great but I think the rest of the characters in the film have to share the honours.

Keyser Soze - The Usual Suspects....

bruce willis very sexy

Jack Sparrow
is
Johnny Depp

jack sparrow! no wait... Denzel Washington in "remember the titans"...mmm... no!... ivana baquero as ofelia in "pan's labyrinth"... wait! agghhh! it's a very difficult choice! there're so many cool characters!

Jessica Rabbit.
Soooooooo sexy.

Shaft....because he's a bad mother...shout yo mouth

Ellen Ripley - the first female action hero!

hmm. John McClaine. yippie kai yay. need i say more

Maximus Decimus Meridius - a.k.a. Gladiator. He fought back against the corrupt Emperor but kept his pride along the way. He brought his fellow gladiators together and gave them something to fight for. And though he died in the end, he had his revenge on the evil Commodus and returned the empire to the people. Ok now I feel like Ive just made a speech lol......!! Take care

love actually
