Do you like watching violence in movies? and why?!

Question: Movies like Saw IV and Hostel...

Answers: Movies like Saw IV and Hostel...

Movies showing violence are sick!! Real or not, with time, you start liking these violent acts and probably start doing one of them... On YouTube, I saw a videoclip of a guy really hurt in a car accident and no body was helping him, everybody was busy making the clip I was viewing...
Violence movies are a real good source for creating psychos and serial killers... They should be banned from the cinema!!

yep nothing like escaping reality for an hour and half

YES. I love it. The more gore the better. Why? Cos I'm a nice person but even I have a few people I'd like to do those kinds of things to

i LOVE those movies!! it's not real, is it? if it was real then i'd be horrified.

sometimes....I watched the new Bruce Willis movie, and it was just awesome!!!

Toxic Toxic Toxic is what violent movies are made of..They injure and damage the soul...

Not as much as I used to....

But I still love horror movies....

Can't say I do nowadays and I never liked it much.

On of my favourite moves is the war film Das Boot, and that contains less violence than most movies.

No .. they are made to shock not entertain and some silly people think the story actually happens in real life!
No they are bad for everyone in view, such as it is

some times.. coz i can undrstnd wat it is and how it happens....!

No, coz i dont believe in violence and its desensitising you! It doesnt bother me if its an important part of the film but not gory for the sake of it. Like the movies you mention above!

I don't like violent movies...
it makes me hide in my blanket and then go to sleep! xDD

I like the plots of most violent movies, but I don't actually like to watch the violent parts. Didn't really enjoy the hostel all that much, but those saw movies have got me hooked. (havent seen 4 yet) I guess most people have been desensitized by violent movies when they were young, I mean it's just a movie right. I would certainly NOT want to watch it in real life.

No but my partner does and he is really soft and gentle and has never hit or hurt anything. he watches 'blood and guts' films when I am away.

I am too porous emotionally and it upset em that people want to do that stuff but I am not as gentle as my partner - at the gym I do the boxing stuff wacky eh!

only if its done really well.
non of that steven segul ****

Personally I do. I find it entertaining. But I would surely suggest that violence movies should not be watched by minors.

NO!!! It promotes violence and makes it seem acceptable. Look at what this world has come to... plus all the violence looks soo fake with all the special features added to them. it looks so un realistic. The world does not need violence it needs peace and LOVE.

In this country, I'm not allowed to slap my wife, I'm not allowed to spank the kids, I'm not allowed to swear at my neighbour.
So for mental relief, I watch a bit of violence.
But violence that's portrayed as fantasy stuff is far more appealing than that portrayed as reality.
Hence my predilection for Jackie Chan, Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis and Sly.

absolutely not.
i think movies like that are terribly barbaric and evil. and its really affects my mood, and not in a good way. gives me bad dreams, as well.
let's be serious..even if it is fictional, who really ENJOYS seeing creepy, bestial, inhumane stuff.... like SAW.. or any movies that have to do with killing/murders...???

as far as movies like saw and hostel no, the only movie I ever got into like that was 7. I like more Action "violence" or "violence" with a perpouse like Good vs. Evil stuff or thriler stuff like Tommy Lee Jones movies

No, they're disgusting. I don't know how anyone can get kicks out of watching those kinds of movies. What's the morbid fascination?

No not at all
