Do you think we should boycott blue ray movies?!
Question: I think we should. My friends dad is high-tech and bought a blue ray dvd player and had to buy aditional stuff to up convert it to there t.v. She and I bought some movies blue ray but they we crapy not the movies but to view. The player was a good high qualtly one, it was making loud sounds, took forever to loud. Okay it might be a poor quailty player but I just don' like them. No disrespect to the creator but i just will not buy that.
Will you waste your money on the same movies but blue-ray? Why re-buy 100's of dvds, when you own perfectly good ones now?

no i wouldn't boycott Blue ray, but there is no need to buy them unless you have the proper home theatre system, DVD's are still fine so keep buying them until you see a need to change. Do not buy blue ray because its the cool thing to do
boycott? nobody buys them anyways. the term DVD is still pretty new. and to make the leap to blue ray so soon. everyone is already paying out of pocket for the new HD tvs. wait a few years until everything is HD then go for it. Cuz you know... as soon as blue-ray is the normal (same thing as HD anyways) theyll come out with the special REDRAY and youll be screwed again. Personally i dont care how many colors of sweat are coming off Morgan Freemans head. NOt that i would fork out a thousand bucks.
Maybe in the next 4-5 years I would buy a movie with blue-ray. However, I won't buy it now since it's still a new technology. Usually new technology seem to suck. You gotta wait a few for years until it becomes cheaper, better and more commen to the average user. Currently using DVD and no complains about it.
So, don't have to boycott blue ray movies. If some people are rich, then let them buy it la.
