Does anyone know of at least one Disney movie that doesn't have an orphan in!

Question: Every Disney movie I can think of has an orphan or someone with no mom or no dad.

Answers: Every Disney movie I can think of has an orphan or someone with no mom or no dad.

This question has brought up a valid point. As I sat here and thought, every disney movey I came up with had an orphan (or protagonist without a Parental figure) This highlights the fact that humans are fascinated with the "underdog" theme. It is a very romantic idea, a child with no parents, goes on to do great things and defeat the evil antagonist. I am intrigued now.

wow, seriously good point! i cant think of one!

oh wait, honey i shrunk the kids...lol

umm.cars?? lol

lil nemo had a dad and wasnt an orphan

Toy Story and Bug's Life

I don't think Little Mermaid has an orphan.

little mermaid doesnt

well, the little mermaid had a dad
oh, and the mommy cat didn't die in the aristocats...

Cars was a dreamworks movie lol. anyways finding nemo didnt have an orphan!

beauty and the beast
finding nemo
Aristocats

but is there one where the character has BOTH parents??

Fantasia

My wife says she always knows its a Disney movie when they kill the mom off in the first fifteen minutes

Toy Story?

Little Orphan Annie? Oh, right, that wasn't a Disney.
Okay, how about High School Musical?

Cars
The Incredibles
Selma Lord Selma
National Treasure
Finding Nemo
The Aristocrats
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
Pocahontas...

Do you mean the original movies or the movies they sponsor? Because National Treasure is Disney sponsored.

They're not all orphans, but they have at least one parent dead.

Mulan was not an orphan. Neither was Aurora from Sleeping Beauty or Pocahantas (she was the chief's daughter). I assume you mean just cartoons, because Pirates of the Caribbean was also a Disney movie and Will Turner's father was not quite dead while Elizabeth's father was once governor.

Hope this helps.

Having 1 parent isn't the same as being an orphan, but:

Pinocchio isn't an orphan, he's made of wood and wants to be real.

Little mermaid doesn't address mother issues as its not part of the mythology. She has Zeus for a father, end of story.

Fantasia also doesn't deal with parent issues in any way.

Lady & The Tramp, nothing about parents.

101 Dalmations - both mother & father dogs are present.

The Aristocats - no parental issues there either.

And thats just Animated Disney films. We haven't even gotten into live action films.

Lion king...good movie

yea...i'd have to say the little mermaid as well.

Mulan, Pochahontas, Hercules. The children in Bedknobs and Broomsticks parents were still alive, same for Mary Poppins.

true!

No orphen in The Lion King - Simba looses his dad, but mommy is still alive:)
