Does anyone wish they could slap the whiny Christians protesting against Golden !
Question: There are plenty of pro Christianity films out there, you don't see a bunch of atheist protesting, but just one pro atheist film movie ,the golden compass, which btw is meant to be fictional, comes out and now the Christians b*tch. >_< !!!

I want to slap them for a number of reasons...
The reason they christians are so angry is because the book is talking about killing God. I know that there are alot of christian movies out there and that most atheistst people do not care enough to take action. If you are in any religion with a god you will be angry that this movies is talking about killing god.
It wouldn't make so mad if they had specified what it was about in the pre views because most parents dont think a children's book with talking animals is going to be about killing god they should at least give the parent soem input on what their child is going to see
What makes ME angry, is the fact that people are lumping all Christians into one group. I have not, and I do not intend to, whine about this movie.
And speaking of people complaining about another person's religion, (some) Athiests complain when people put crosses up in their homes at Christmas time.
Some places have tried to get ordinances passed so that no one can display a cross. How's THAT for bi_ching?
There are erronuous complaints made by both Christians and Athiests. And not all of either side is completely good or completely bad. Everyone is a moron in some sense.
