Can you name this creature feature? and I know it's not Goolies.?!
Question: I think it came out in the 1970's about a bunch of hairy little creatures that only came out at night. they had long fingers with needle like finger nails that injected poisons in humans and killed them, and they themselves would die when ever they were subjected to lights. and the way the towns people killed them was they surrounded them in the woods with cars and turned on the head lights and the all died. it was a scary creature feature. I remember a scene where one was hiding in the back seat of a car and a man and woman got into the car and it started stabbing the woman with it fingers. Please help.

I know the film you mean, but I haven't been able to bring up the memory of its name. It borrowed from "Invasion of the Saucer Men" (1957). They were aliens with bulbous heads and large eyes who had needlelike fingernails, only they injected pure alcohol instead of poison. Also, they were surrounded by cars and killed by light.
But, someone remade it I think. I just can't recall what they named that version. I know I've seen the box art recently, and I just can't seem to recall the title. ARRRGH! I hate when that happens! I do know what you're talking about. You are right: It isn't "Ghoulies", "Gremlins", "CHUD" or "Critters".
I think I've ruled out Dark Moon and New Line Cinema as producers of the film. I didn't see a familiar name. I'm sure that I will recognize it when I see it. I'll keep looking!
I've discovered that they did a remake titled "The Eye Creatures" (1965), but that's not what I was thinking about. It's supposed to be really awful and simply doesn't sound like the film I'm thinking of.
I keep thinking that the creature shown on the box art looked a bit like the creatures in "Critters", but my mind probably is playing tricks on me. I kept hoping that some article about "Saucer Men" would refer me to the other film.
