Can you watch a scare film alone?!

Question: Nearly every night, when I can't sleep as usual, I cruise the channels and generally end up with a horror or science fiction film. During the wee hours of the morning, several hours past midnight, I watched "Dead Mary" twice then saw "Just Before Dawn" for the first time. For some reason, they're my comfort movies~"The Grudge" 1 & 2, "The Ring 1 & 2", 'Urban Legends: Bloody Mary" (which wasn't as gory as I feared it would be), "The Dark", "Darkness Falls", and so many more.

It takes a lot to frighten me. I can bring to mind the few instances that a movie rattled me. At least one of them isn't even a horror film in the traditional sense: "Requiem for a Dream". Now, THAT is sleep-disrupting! It makes most scary films look tame.

So, I don't have any problems watching a horror film~alone~in the dark~with no one near. Hmmm... That makes me want to watch "The Haunting" (original) again!

yes, all the time.

I usually don't watch them at all...I get way too scared. It sounds weird, but when I do, I plug my ears so I can't hear the scary music....it helps...haha!

its sort of the only thing that feels real anymore

I've tried it. It wasn't fun. :P
I still get scared even if I watch it with someone else.

Of course, I don't know how people can't. It's pretty funny.

All the time.
