No it wasn't a sad story at all. there were some very sentimental moments surrounding some of the character in the movie but overall it was very happy themed. some parts were funny and of course it has an all-star cast. i think there is something in it for everybody because all the characters play different roles and are going through different things in life. it also can make one fully appreciate their family
i'd give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

My 12 year-old sister loved it, and that movie had the biggest crowd compared to other movies. They all seemed to enjoy it.

It wasn't sad at all. It just showed the importance of family during the holidays. There were some really funny parts also. You'll like it.
