hd for sure... have a few films in that already.. blow ya mind away..
on paper, Blu Ray wins. But on reality, they have identical picture and sound quality (assuming it was the same transfer and codecs like one of those Warner release).
And so far, some HD titles have more extras than the same Blu Ray titles.
A lot of Blu Ray disc was only filled with a total of 10-15 GB, wasting their potential capacity.
For me, this format war is stupid thanks to the fanboy-ism. If you want to get on high def but don't have that much money, get the one format that has more favourite film of yours in their collection, or just get both.
blu-ray is so much better, although i can't get as many blu-ray movies here it has been easy enough to order them from the states or elsewhere. not only are they releasing new movies but they are also releasing old movies on to blu-ray too, they have quite a collection actually. planet earth was one of the first blu-ray things i got and i was blown away with how crystal clear the picture is. obviously the fact that the blu-ray discs store more data makes them more favourable too, we're going to see a whole lot more of special features etc which is great for movie fanatics. it will be interesting to see how they fill the discs.
dvd right now but i did have my doubts about dvd but i certainly aint replacing my dvds on blue ray HD is great but remember you can watch both em playstation 3 and dont have to go out and buy a special player
